Generalist

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Work together with management to solve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement effective policies, programs, and practices.
  • Consult regularly with management and provide HR policy guidance when appropriate.
  • Interpret human resources policy to company management.
  • Analyze data trends and metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to work on value-added programs in areas of training, development, and job performance.
  • Identify training needs and create a professional development curriculum.
  • Interpret human resources policy to company management.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an HR business partner.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Current, in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources and employee management and federal and state employment laws.
  • Needs to have excellent writing skills.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
  • Thorough knowledge of labor legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Analytical and goal oriented.
